Frequently Asked Questions Q: How many photographers will be at our wedding?? A: We are a father and daughter team, so you get two highly experienced wedding photographers for the price of one. It is not possible for one photographer to be in two places at the same time, so it follows that some important moments will be lost if you have but one photographer. Our Prices. Q: How many photos do you typically take? A: We take up to a 1000 photos depending on the number of hours we are there. Of course many of these are thrown out due to subjects blinking or out-of-focus due to the camera being bumped, etc. For more exact details see: Our Prices. Q: How do we see proofs of our photos? A: You receive all your photos on a high resolution DVD disk. In addition, all of your images will appear on a website to which only you have access with the password we provide you. There you can see all of your photos and order prints. This service results in much lower costs than if you went to a processing lab to have prints made. Q: How can our relatives and friends, order prints? A: If you provide them with the password that we give you they can visit the proofing and ordering website where they can order prints or just enjoy your photos. This saves you the hassle of ordering for them. Q: Are albums included in your packages? A: Including leather-bound albums in their packages is a method many photographers use to boost their prices. The high mark-ups they add to these albums often result in costs beyond the budget of many couples. So rather than inflating our package prices by including albums, we provide a method whereby you can make album decisions after your wedding. They are available in various styles and prices on the website where you view your photos after the wedding-- which we believe is the best time to make albums decisions anyhow--after you have seen your photos and had a second look at your budget. Q: What kind of equipment do you use? A: We use high-end Nikon digital cameras along with the finest lighting equipment. Q: Do you use flash? A: Yes in addition to available light. When we shoot flash we make every effort to make it appear as natural light by using softeners and bouncing our lights. Q: Will you be intrusive during our ceremony? A: We always make it our goal to be discreet and not draw attention to ourselves. Although we are constantly moving around the venue for lots of different angles and viewpoints, brides often comment on how they did not even see us. Q: Do you color-correct or retouch the photos? A: Yes, we color-correct and retouch all images. We correct skin blemishes, hot spots, or discoloration. Q: Do you shoot black and white?? A: We can convert any of your color photos to high-quality and very artistic black and whites. We can even sepia-tone them if you like. We come to you. We will be pleased to come to your home to discuss your wedding plans. So phone us for a free consultation: 562-234-8016 or email us at: info@KandHWeddingPhotography.com |
