How We Shoot Portraits
We rarely shoot a full-length formal pose without at the same time shooting a close-up portrait. Whenever possible we render our portraits in available light. When we do use flash, we use special light softeners to preserve natural skin tones and avoid shinny spots on cheeks, noses and foreheads that are the result of the harsh light from unsoftened flash.

On special occasions we will bring large studio lights equipped with umbrellas to spread and soften the light in a most flattering manner.

However, we have often been told that many of our more candid, unposed shots turn out to be as pleasing, if not more so, than some formally posed portraits. With us you get the best of both worlds.

All portraits are color-corrected and retouched.

We come to you. We will be pleased to come to your home to discuss your wedding plans. So phone us for a free consultation: 562-234-8016
